Congratulations to Mr Giuseppe Cipriani on the successful opening of the long awaited addition to the portfolio, Downtown Mayfair.

Downtown Mayfair is located between two of the most well known shopping streets in London, Savile Row famous for its bespoke tailors and Regent St.

It is inspired in design a “London of the 40s” with engraved glasses, warm materials like leather and walnut, antiqued bronze and Venetian Chandeliers. The 1940s finishes are complemented perfectly by the state of the art Mechanical and Electrical Services bringing a modern slant on the 1940s finishes.

Summit Design are proud to have provided this top quality restaurant with a full Mechanical and Electrical Design and Build package from survey through the installation and testing and commissioning.

Since opening in Oct 2011 Downtown Mayfair has proved to be a massive success, hopefully, being aided by the quality of the Mechanical and Electrical services.

The restaurant is Air Conditioned by the installation of Daikin 410A split type ducted systems, the same system is also installed in the Kitchen. The kitchen ventilation is provided by Helios and Victoria Fan Co Fan units controlled by Inverters to reduce energy consumption.

The project saw a resumption of our long association with the Kent based Shop fitting Contractor Crane Interiors and long may we continue to work with them opening top quality restaurants throughout the south of England.
